NFL Playoff Scenario

The NFL playoff scenarios look extremely complicated right now. However, the current NFL playoff setting isn't so bad, as long as certain teams win to start 2010. Despite five 8-7 teams fighting for two wild card spots, two of them control their destiny. If the Jets and Ravens both win next week, there will be no more need for crazy tiebreakers and math. But if they lost, the NFL playoff scenario that unfolds could be very hard to figure out - though fortunately, that's the only complicated one.


Aside from the AFC wild card mess, the rest of the NFL playoff scenarios for 2010 look pretty easy, especially in the NFC. All six playoff teams in the NFC are set, but the seeding order still needs to be settled. The Vikings can't clinch a bye tonight against the Bears, but they can avoid slipping behind the Eagles with a win.
