A food network chef named Juan-Carlos Cruz  was arrested Thursday for a murder plot which they call "murder-for-hire" (offering money to homeless people to kill someone)

Homeless community in Sta. Monica reported in the city's homeless liason and told them about the plot that Juan Cruz is offering.

A little bio of Juan-Carlos Cruz: Host of the Calorie Commando and Weighing In. Graduated in California Culinary Academy in 1993, started working in Stanford Park Hotel in 1994. He also makes sweeties and pastries for celebrities which include Jim Carrey, Prince Philip, Oprah Winfrey,  Joe Namath,  Julia Roberts and, Will Smith.
